The Israeli army announced today, Thursday, that its soldiers recovered the body of Judith Weiss, one of about 240 people held hostage by Hamas fighters during their attack on southern Israel. The army stated that the hostage's body was found in a building near Shifa Hospital in Gaza, which was besieged and stormed by Israeli forces. It added that "the woman's body was identified by forensic experts and her family was notified."
