The Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA) reported today, Wednesday, that "the Emir of the country, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, has accepted the resignation of the government." It added, "The government will continue to operate as a caretaker government until a new one is formed." The report stated that there was "an Emiri order accepting the resignation of the Prime Minister and the ministers, and each of them will continue to handle urgent matters of their positions until a new cabinet is formed."
