The Iraqi news agency reported that 16 people, mostly Iranians, were killed in a road accident in Iraq. The agency added that 17 were injured in the incident which occurred on a road linking two cities in Salah al-Din province in northern Iraq. The Director General of Health in Salah al-Din, Khalid Burhan, stated that the accident took place on the road connecting al-Dujail and Samarra.
