The French charity organization Doctors Without Borders announced today, Tuesday, that three doctors, including two affiliated with them, were killed in an airstrike on Al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza, expressing "extreme dismay" over this incident. The organization added in a statement, "Doctors Without Borders has consistently informed both parties of the conflict that Al-Awda Hospital is operational and has staff present." It also stated, "Coordinates of the hospital's location were sent to the Israeli authorities yesterday via GPS." The organization identified the doctors as Dr. Mahmoud Abu Najila (Doctors Without Borders), Dr. Ahmad Al-Sahar (Doctors Without Borders), and Dr. Ziad Al-Tatari. They further stated, "Seeing doctors being killed next to hospital beds is incredibly tragic, and this must stop now."
