The English Auction Threatens Real Madrid's Hopes of Signing Mbappe

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is firm in its decision to sell forward Kylian Mbappe this summer if he does not sign a new contract to replace his current one. Mbappe has put PSG in a difficult situation after informing the club of his unwillingness to renew, which puts the French club at risk of losing the player for free in the summer of 2024, while Real Madrid is monitoring the situation to sign a replacement for Karim Benzema.

The Spanish program "El Chiringuito" reported that PSG will not make things easy for Real Madrid and wants to keep all options open by initiating a public auction for Mbappe this summer. The program confirmed that PSG has given Mbappe a 10-day deadline to meet and sign a new contract, and if the player does not agree, he will be put up for sale, while Madrid prepares a €250 million offer to acquire the French star.

However, matters will not be easy for Real due to interest from several English clubs, such as Manchester United and Liverpool, with expectations of moves after the deadline that PSG has set for its forward. It is worth noting that Mbappe has publicly expressed his desire to stay for another season with PSG, regardless of the renewal, which the French club completely rejects.
