The German railway company "Deutsche Bahn" and Munich Airport indicated that long-distance train services and hundreds of flights to and from Munich were canceled today, Saturday, due to heavy snowfall. In a statement on Munich Airport's official website, it was mentioned that no flights are scheduled to depart or arrive until at least 12 PM local time (11 AM GMT). Deutsche Bahn added on its website that trains were unable to reach the central train station in Munich. It further stated that the disruptions are expected to continue throughout the day and advised travelers to rebook their flights.
