# French Delegation Meets Army Commander and Emphasizes the Importance of the Military Institution

Army Commander General Joseph Aoun welcomed in his office in Yarzeh the Director General for Political and Security Affairs at the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Frédéric Mondoloni, and the Director General for International and Strategic Relations at the French Ministry of Armed Forces, Alice Rufo, along with an accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by the French Ambassador to Lebanon, Hervé Magro, and Military Attaché Colonel Grigory Medina, and discussions focused on the general situation in the country, particularly at the southern borders. Members of the delegation underscored the vital role of the army in maintaining Lebanon's security and stability during current circumstances. The Army Commander, for his part, thanked the French authorities for their continuous support of the military institution.
