The White House: Recent Economic Data Shows "Real Momentum" for 2024

White House Council of Economic Advisers Chairman Jared Bernstein announced that "the increase in consumer spending during the holiday season, the rise in wages over the past nine months, and the recent increase in consumer confidence all indicate a good start for 2024." Bernstein added on "Fox News Sunday" that President Joe Biden will continue to focus on reducing costs for Americans if he wins a second term. He continued, "If you really look at the trajectory of the economy... I think you see some real momentum that puts us in a good position for the new year."
