The Information Branch in the town of Kamid Al-Lawz, Bekaa, has apprehended the person who shot another individual in the neighborhood of Tarik Al-Jadida.
In detail, H.M. (born in 2003, Lebanese) fired a gun at the head of A.A. (born in 2006, Syrian), who was hit in the head and died from his injuries in the Tarik Al-Jadida area of Beirut on May 23, 2023.
During the investigation, he confessed to shooting the victim from behind with a war gun belonging to his father due to disputes between the two parties. He also admitted that his father, H.D.M. (born in 1964, Lebanese), incited him to commit the crime.
A patrol from the branch was able to recover the weapon used in the crime at the killer's grandmother's house in Tarik Al-Jadida. The necessary legal procedures have been carried out, and he has been placed with the seized item under the jurisdiction of the relevant authorities, while efforts continue to apprehend the father.
