While the "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc is occupied with preparing its responses to Le Drian's questions, "Al-Jumhuriya" learned that the "Development and Liberation" bloc's paper focused on the following answers:
Regarding priorities: the president is asked to restore internal relations among political components and manage a sustainable dialogue to prevent divisions, working on solidifying national consensus based on the Taif Agreement and under the constitution, including the defensive strategy, building trust with the world and Arab nations, moving past the phase of rupture, and returning to the fundamentals of protecting common interests and respecting state sovereignty. There is also a call for the approval of a reform plan in cooperation with the government and the parliament (rebalancing finances and restructuring banks), and to complete the implementation of the Taif Agreement concerning administrative decentralization, the Senate, judicial independence, execution of anti-corruption laws, and addressing the issue of displaced persons.
As for the qualifications, the president should possess a national standing, be active in political life, have experience in governmental and administrative work, effectively manage communication internally and externally, commit to the Taif Agreement and the constitution, uphold national constants, rise above personal interests and resentments, believe in dialogue and the right to disagreement without making it a cause for rupture among political factions, and prioritize the public interest over private ones.
