Iraq: Arrest of a Driver Who Ran Over a Traffic Officer

The Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced today, Sunday, the arrest of a driver who ran over a traffic officer. A statement from the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "a driver of a BMW vehicle was arrested after appearing on social media while running over a traffic officer." It added that "the arrest operation of this suspect came following the minister's follow-up on the incident, just hours after the crime was committed."
