Cautious Calm on the Southern Front

A cautious calm prevailed over the western and central sectors last night, amid ongoing flights of Israeli reconnaissance aircraft and the launch of illuminating bombs over border villages adjacent to the Blue Line, according to the National News Agency. Aita al-Shaab and Wadi al-Selouki were subjected to Israeli artillery shelling shortly after midnight. Israeli airstrikes since midnight have targeted the Kfarshouba Heights, as well as the towns of Kfarkila, Taybeh, Markaba, Wadi al-Selouki, Aita al-Shaab, and the outskirts of Nakoura.
