The Russian Foreign Ministry announced the evacuation of 653 Russian citizens and their Palestinian family members out of approximately 900 individuals who requested evacuation from the Gaza Strip. The statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry said: "On November 22, 28 Russians and Palestinians from their families arrived in Moscow as part of a new group of citizens being evacuated from Gaza." The statement added: "Eighty-two Russian citizens and their Palestinian family members entered Egypt via the Rafah border crossing." It continued: "A total of 653 citizens were evacuated from around 900 who requested evacuation from Gaza, and 553 individuals have arrived in Russia from Cairo on Russian Emergency Ministry flights." The ministry praised "the assistance provided by the authorities of Egypt, Israel, Palestine, and Qatar in carrying out the evacuation procedures."
