Finance: Some Land Registry Offices Will Resume Operations

The Ministry of Finance announced that "after the forced closure beyond its control of several land registry offices in various regions, it will begin to resume work in the coming days, following efforts made with the concerned parties, in addition to operational procedures implemented to ensure work proceeds gradually and regularly."

In a statement, it noted that "the initial focus will be on processing accumulated transactions from before the closure, after which it will proceed to accept new inquiries in a subsequent phase." The ministry acknowledged "the complaints expressed by various parties due to the disruption affecting one of the vital services in the state, as it also considers itself among the affected parties due to the losses incurred by the public treasury as a result of this closure. Therefore, it is counting on the efforts and performance of its employees, who are highly trusted and valued by the ministry, to restore the operation of this vital facility and regain its role, which has diminished for several reasons."
