Minister of Tourism in the caretaker government, Walid Nassar, confirmed during his tour of several villages and towns in the northern Jbeil district that "we have made the Ministry of Tourism a ministry for all of Lebanon. What we offer in services for the Jbeil area is also offered to other Lebanese regions, each area according to its tourism needs and the religious and temporal heritage it possesses, and everyone is witnessing the work of the Ministry of Tourism." He pointed out that "more than two and a half million visitors have entered Lebanon to date, constituting an important economic boost in these difficult financial circumstances facing the Lebanese people." He urged them to "hold on to the land and rural customs, as they are a precious capital that only those who lack it understand its value."
