Ministry of Economy: Enough with the Bidding and Manipulation of People’s Bread

The Ministry of Economy and Trade has denied reports in some newspapers about a shortage of bread and a decision to stop support, affirming that "this vital and strategic commodity is available." In a statement, it urged some media outlets to maintain accuracy and not to fall into traps set by certain disruptors and those harmed by the regulatory mechanisms implemented by the ministry, which have stabilized the market and prevented the exploitation of the Lebanese people's bread. Additionally, Minister of Economy and Trade Amin Salam will hold a press conference tomorrow at 3 PM in his office at the ministry to clarify matters.
