Title: India Stops Search for Survivors of Landslide

A spokesperson from the Indian National Disaster Management Authority, "S.B. Singh," announced that rescue teams have halted the search for survivors of a landslide that struck a village in Maharashtra, western India, on Thursday, resulting in at least 27 fatalities. He stated that they have "stopped and canceled" the operation, adding that more than 50 people are still missing. The landslide hit the remote village of Irshalwadi, located about 60 kilometers from Mumbai, causing many houses to be flattened. It is estimated that the village had at least 225 inhabitants, with more than 80 of them managing to escape on their own.
