This morning, the Ashrafieh area awoke to signs that were raised in its streets, specifically around the School of Wisdom "Mar Youssef" and the Maronite Archdiocese of Beirut, where the club is located. The signs denounce the club's president, Eli Yahchouchi, who also serves on the Beirut municipal council. The signs, numbering nearly seven, read: "We want a president for Al-Hekma Club who will take on the funding of the club," "Eli Yahchouchi, your opponents remain your opponents, and those who were with you have become your opponents," and "We do not want a president for Al-Hekma Club who exploits the love of Al-Hekma's fans for their club." Information from "An-Nahar" indicated that the Beirut municipality later removed the signs. This sudden and unusual move, which has never occurred in the club's rich history since its establishment in 1943, raises numerous questions, particularly regarding what is happening at Al-Hekma Club.
