Belgian international Eden Hazard, aged 32, announced today, Tuesday, his retirement from professional football in a statement via his Instagram account. Hazard, the former Real Madrid player, said in the statement: "You have to listen to yourself and say stop at the right time. After 16 years and playing over 700 games, I have decided to end my career as a professional football player." He added: "I achieved my dream and played in many stadiums around the world. Throughout my career, I was lucky to meet wonderful coaches and teammates. Thank you all for these great times, and I will miss you all."
