After his crime shocked the Egyptian public, the Egyptian security forces managed to apprehend the perpetrator of the massacre in the Al-Haram area in Giza, where a man attacked his wife and five daughters, resulting in the mother's and one child's death by slaughter and leaving four others injured.

In detail, the Al-Haram police station in Giza received a report about a scrap worker, named Mowli, who has a criminal record for killing his wife (a housewife) and his 8-year-old daughter, injuring four of his daughters with stab and slaughter wounds, and then fleeing the scene.

Upon questioning two of the injured daughters, they confirmed that their father was a regular drug user and that on the date of the incident, a verbal altercation occurred between him and their mother, escalating into a fight where he used a knife and attacked them, even attempting to set the house on fire, according to the security statement.

Following the necessary legal procedures, the suspect was apprehended after fleeing and hiding in a friend's residence. Upon questioning, he confessed to committing the crime due to marital disputes.
