Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev stated today that "the West has grown very weary of Ukraine and has passionately embraced support for Israel," noting that the latter is delaying its ground operation in Gaza under pressure from Washington and fear of global outrage. Medvedev wrote on his official account on the platform "X": "Israel continues to intentionally postpone its ground operation in Gaza, mainly due to pressure from the United States and fear of the world's anger... the operation will happen but with dire and bloodier consequences, leading to more casualties and continued mutual fighting for years." He pointed out that even the new U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson considers helping Tel Aviv a priority for him.
