Launch of the Latest Arabic Language Programs Using Artificial Intelligence in the UAE

A company affiliated with the leading technological group "G42" in the UAE has launched the Jais 30B program, the latest and most efficient Arabic language program capable of running generative artificial intelligence applications. This program is part of Core42's strategy to provide a rich generative artificial intelligence experience linguistically and culturally for over 400 million Arabic speakers worldwide. The new Jais 30B model has been trained on a dataset consisting of 126 billion Arabic tokens and 251 billion English tokens. The model offers longer and more detailed responses with a 160% increase in Arabic and a 233% increase in English compared to previous models. Andrew Jackson, the CEO of AI at Core42, stated, "The launch of Jais 30B represents a giant leap forward for the Arabic-speaking world in harnessing the potentials of generative AI." The name "Jais" is derived from the highest peak in the United Arab Emirates, Jais Mountain, located in the northern Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
