Jemayel Meets Frontzka: Preventing Lebanon from Being Drawn into War

The Lebanese Forces Party leader, MP Sami Jemayel, met with the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Joanna Frontzka, at his office in Bikfaya. Discussions focused on developments amidst the ongoing war in Gaza and the escalating tensions in southern Lebanon. The meeting was attended by the party's Vice President Bernard Jrebo and the head of the foreign relations department, Marwan Abdullah. Both parties agreed on the necessity of implementing UN Resolution 1701 in cooperation with international forces. Jemayel emphasized the need to protect Lebanon by deploying the army along the entire border to prevent any entanglement of Lebanon in the ongoing war.
