The Saudi people celebrate National Day tomorrow, Saturday, September 23. Sports clubs participate in the celebrations by organizing various events to revive Saudi heritage and hold festivities, as well as introducing foreign stars to the history of the Kingdom. Al-Nasr Club was among the first to prepare for the 93rd National Day celebration, as the team captain, Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo, appeared wearing a traditional cloak and headscarf, holding a sword, to celebrate this occasion to the tunes of traditional folk music.
Al-Nasr Club boasts a host of foreign stars, including its captain Cristiano Ronaldo, along with fellow Portuguese player Otavio, Croatian Marcelo Brozovic, Senegalese Sadio Mane, Brazilian Anderson Talisca, his compatriot Alex Telles, and Ivorian Seiko Fofana. Previously, Cristiano Ronaldo participated in Foundation Day celebrations last February by wearing the Saudi "murudan" dress and performing the traditional Ardah dance. However, he did not stop there in his preparations for the National Day celebration, as he also donned the Saudi headscarf alongside the traditional dress.
