Macron: Houthi Attacks in the Red Sea "Unacceptable Threat"

French President Emmanuel Macron stated today, Thursday, that the attacks carried out by the Houthis in the Red Sea are an "unacceptable threat." Speaking in front of French military personnel deployed in Jordan, he remarked that "in this region, which is essential for global maritime transport, the threat posed by the Houthis to the freedom of navigation is unacceptable," praising the "crucial role" the French Navy has played in recent days to confront it. He emphasized, "We are actively working to prevent the fire from spreading towards Israel's borders with Lebanon."
