Basil Contacts Sami Gemayel Twice... No Response

High-ranking sources in the Free Patriotic Movement confirmed to "Al-Markazia" that the head of the movement, MP Gebran Bassil, during his recent tour of officials and political leaders following the Gaza War, proposed five ideas to reach a national understanding. He made two calls to the leader of the Lebanese Forces, MP Sami Gemayel, and personally consulted with him regarding the possibility of including him and the opposition team in the discussions. However, he did not receive a response, and the reply came 24 hours later, stating that the current communication would be limited to the ongoing parliamentary level, handled by MPs George Attallah and Nada Boustani.
