The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has ordered the hosting of 1,000 Palestinian children from Gaza, along with their families, to provide them with all necessary medical and health care in the country's hospitals until their recovery and return. This initiative reflects the UAE's steadfast position and approach to supporting its brothers and extending a helping hand in various circumstances. This announcement came during a phone call between Sheikh Mohammed and Mirjana Spolijaric, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The initiative to host children from Gaza and provide them with medical care is part of the ongoing efforts by the UAE to deliver relief to the Palestinian people. During the call, Sheikh Mohammed and Mirjana Spolijaric discussed the importance of consistently and safely delivering humanitarian and medical aid to civilians in Gaza, as well as the necessity of regional and international collaborative efforts to enhance the humanitarian response to the needs of those affected by the current crisis.
