Iraq: Drug Trafficking Network Dismantled and Its Members Arrested

The Iraqi National Security Service announced the dismantling of a drug trafficking network and the arrest of its members. According to a statement from the service, their patrols managed to dismantle the drug trafficking network and seized over 5 kilograms of marijuana in their possession. The statement added that the suspects confessed to communicating with a drug dealer from outside the country, from whom they received the drugs hidden inside statues through a transportation company, before being apprehended by the service's patrols.
