Bouhabib Meets Frontska and Ambassadors from 9 Countries: Our World Faces Two Options

Lebanon's caretaker Foreign Minister Abdullah Bouhabib confirmed today, during his meeting with the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon Joanna Frontska, that "UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres spoke the truth and then left," when he noted that "what has happened did not come from thin air." He added: "Let the whole world know that the roots of the conflict are due to 75 years of depriving the Palestinian people of their natural rights; Israel's right to self-defense has turned into a license for killing." Bouhabib also met with 9 ambassadors accredited to Lebanon: from the Philippines, Ukraine, Uruguay, Venezuela, Malta, Azerbaijan, Cuba, Paraguay, and Argentina. During the meeting, he stated: "Our world today faces two options: either to remain silent about Gaza turning into a mass grave for over two million Palestinians and disregard international laws, or to immediately halt this war and begin a path to peace in accordance with international legitimacy decisions."
