Saudi-French Military Cooperation

The Saudi Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman, discussed military cooperation and regional developments today (Wednesday) with his French counterpart, Sébastien Lecornu. They reviewed both countries' vision for regional security and stability, as well as recent regional and international developments. Prince Khalid bin Salman stated on the platform X: "I reviewed with His Excellency the Minister of the Armed Forces of France, Sébastien Lecornu, the strategic relations between our two countries and our military and defense cooperation, along with our shared vision for the security and stability of the region. We discussed regional and international developments and issues of mutual interest." He added, "We witnessed the signing of an executive plan for cooperation in the areas of military capabilities, industries, and research and development between the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Armed Forces of the French Republic."
