Developments in Gaza Between Sisi and Raisi

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call today, Saturday, from Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who congratulated Sisi on his victory in the recent presidential elections and his re-election as President of Egypt. The president appreciated this kind gesture. The conversation also touched on the developments in the Gaza Strip, in addition to ongoing discussions regarding unresolved issues between the two countries. Iranian state television reported that "Raisi stated that Iran is ready to provide all its capabilities to stop the genocide perpetrated by the Zionist regime and send aid to the Palestinians."
