Tragedy in Batroun: Man Kills His Wife While She Sleeps

The town of Shbatin in Batroun woke up to a tragedy when citizen J. N. shot and killed his wife, I. S., using his firearm, emptying it into her body while she slept at around 2 AM. The killer was apprehended, and the victim's body was taken to Batroun Hospital. According to relatives of the family, the killer and his family were known as "good people" who had never harmed anyone. However, the husband, who had a normal marital life for many years, had recently suffered from psychological issues and stress, to the point of leaving his job at an institution, showing some strange behaviors that were out of character. He is the father of a married daughter and an unmarried son.
