France condemned today, Thursday, the "violence perpetrated by Israeli settlers in the West Bank," describing it as a "policy of terror" aimed at displacing Palestinians and urged Israeli authorities to protect Palestinians from violence. In remarks to reporters, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Anne-Claire Legendre also stated that "about half of the 100 tons of aid sent by France to Gaza has entered the territory." She added that "it is not Israel's right to decide who will govern Gaza in the future," stating that the sector should be part of the future Palestinian state.
