Minister Molawi: Ensuring Citizens' Safety and Evacuating Buildings Threatened by Collapse

Interior Minister Bassam Molawi requested today, Saturday, that Beirut Governor Marwan Abboud and Municipal Council President Abdullah Darwish inspect the building that partially collapsed in the Zoqaq al-Blat area, ensure the safety of surrounding buildings, and open the road. He also urged action to address the storm's effects on the corniche in the Ras Beirut area and the roads adjacent to the Beirut River. Additionally, Minister Molawi conducted communications with governors and relevant officials from the ministry, calling for an immediate assessment of the damage caused by the ongoing climate storm in Lebanon. Molawi stressed the "necessity of ensuring citizens' safety and evacuating any building threatened by collapse to protect its residents."
