Title: Director of Al-Shifa Hospital: Israeli Army Withdraws After Questioning Medical Staff and Arresting Engineers

The director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Dr. Mohamed Abu Salmiya, confirmed that Israeli army forces have exited the complex premises, but tanks and vehicles are still fully stationed around the hospital. Abu Salmiya told the Palestinian "Al-Aqsa" TV channel, "The Israeli forces have currently exited the complex, but tanks and forces are completely stationed around it, after questioning several medical staff members at Al-Shifa and arresting two engineers working there." He added, "Patients and injured individuals at Al-Shifa are receiving only one meal a day, and we are in constant communication with international organizations, but to no avail." It is noteworthy that the Israeli army has imposed a severe blockade on Al-Shifa Medical Complex for over five days, preventing entry and exit. According to media sources at the hospital, Israeli snipers and troops were firing at any moving target within the complex grounds.
