Abdollahian Tours the Gulf to Discuss Bilateral Relations

On Thursday, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, received Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Abdollahian at the Al Bahar Palace. Abdollahian conveyed greetings from Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the UAE. In return, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed sent his greetings to the Iranian president and his wishes for further development for his country and its people.

The two men discussed the bilateral relations between their countries, exploring ways to support cooperation and joint efforts to achieve their mutual interests. They exchanged views on several regional and international issues of common concern, emphasizing the importance of building on the positive developments in the region for the benefit of its people and to enhance stability and prosperity in their countries.

Abdollahian arrived in the UAE on Thursday, coming from Kuwait, where he was welcomed at Abu Dhabi Airport by Emirati Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, according to the IRNA news agency. Dr. Hussein Amir Abdollahian reached Abu Dhabi as the fourth and final destination of his regional tour of the Persian Gulf countries, which also included meetings with officials in Qatar, Oman, and Kuwait to exchange views on bilateral cooperation and regional and international issues.
