"Al-Riyadi" Beirut Defeats "Al-Shorta" Iraqi in West Asia Clubs Basketball

"Al-Riyadi" - Beirut, the champion of Lebanon, defeated its host "Al-Shorta" Iraqi (115 - 83) in the match held between them this Thursday afternoon at the Al-Shaab Hall in the capital Baghdad, as part of the "Wassel" tournament for West Asian clubs in basketball, sponsored by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). The Iraqi team was led by the national Lebanese coach Ghassan Sarkis from the technical director's seat.
