Spanish driver Carlos Sainz (61 years old) was crowned champion of the Dakar Rally for the fourth time in Saudi Arabia today, while the Audi team won the car category title for the first time. American Ricky Brabec, a Honda racer, secured the motorcycle category title for the second time. Sainz is the father of Carlos Sainz, who competes in the Formula 1 World Championship.
