U.S. Airstrikes in Deir Ez-Zor in Response to Rocket Attacks

U.S. warplanes conducted airstrikes on two sites in Jabal al-‘Ulaym and the old airport in Deir Ez-Zor city, with no information yet on the extent of the damage. This occurred after two U.S. bases were targeted in a double attack involving rockets and drones, which resulted in explosions from a barrage of rockets and drones launched by Iran-aligned groups against the Conoco gas field and the al-Omar oil field bases in the Deir Ez-Zor countryside. Approximately 40 rockets landed inside and outside the bases.
