The Israeli military announced on Wednesday that Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip killed six Palestinian fighters, including the counterintelligence chief of Hamas in the southern region of the strip. The military stated in a summary of its operations over the past few hours that it killed counterintelligence officer Bilal Nofal, which "significantly impacts the terrorist organization's ability to develop and enhance its capabilities."
