Social Affairs Minister Hector Hajar, in an interview with "Voice of Lebanon," excluded that the unfortunate Kahal incident would affect the ongoing dialogue between the Free Patriotic Movement and Hezbollah, expecting it to remain within its limited scope. In response to a question about the possibility of reopening registration for the "Aman" program, he clarified that "the matter is linked to the anticipated debt from the World Bank and its legal trajectory." Regarding the Syrian displacement issue, he pointed out that "the data received is not accurate and what occurred was merely a dialogue with the Foreign Minister to agree on a certain course," calling on Minister Bou Habib to clarify. He reiterated that "the file of the return of Syrian refugees to their country needs international support, which requires direct dialogue with Syria on one hand and with the European Union and the United States on the other," urging Prime Minister Mikati to "resolve the negotiation issue regarding appointing the Foreign Minister as head of the delegation."
