European stocks declined today, Monday, influenced by a weakness in the healthcare sector, although real estate stocks reduced losses after receiving support from significant gains of British real estate firm Rightmove. The Stoxx 600 index dropped by 0.3%, with healthcare stocks falling by 0.6%. Evotec shares lost 3.2%, and AstraZeneca shares decreased by 2.0% following a target price cut by Jefferies. Bayer's shares also fell by three percent due to a target price reduction by Berenberg. Rightmove reduced losses and was the biggest winner, increasing by 4.8% in its shares after the real estate portal raised its average annual revenue expectations for each advertiser. Real estate stocks rose by 1.2%.
