The Media Commission of the Progressive Socialist Party announced that "the two high doors spare no opportunity to undermine the institutions, in service of the mutual interests and intersections occurring behind the scenes at the expense of national interest and the state. The latest chapter in this context is the unjust decision issued by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, with the blessing and direction of the two high doors, against Lebanon's UN representative, Jan Murad, who was penalized for her insistence on rejecting the formula that eliminates coordination between UN forces in the south and the Lebanese government, representing a commitment to the homeland and its sovereignty. Subsequently, Fadi Hashim, a person affiliated with one of the high doors, was appointed to replace her in a manner that violates all protocols and decorum." The Progressive Party questioned "the real motives behind this arbitrary decision?" and said: "Isn't it strange that the entire state and its administrations are almost paralyzed, and key appointments are forbidden, while such a decision is made so easily? This act of tyranny represents a disgrace against Lebanon and an affront to diplomacy, contributing to the erosion of what's left of the state's dignity."
