Nassar Responds to Saudi Invitation

Minister of Tourism in the caretaker government, Walid Nassar, represented Lebanon at a meeting held at the residence of the Saudi Ambassador to France, Fahd Al-Ruwaili, upon a special invitation from his Saudi counterpart, Ahmed Al-Khatib. The meeting was attended by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Ambassador Adel Al-Jubeir, as well as representatives from several countries. This event was part of the ongoing preparations for the announcement of the winning country for "Expo 2030," in anticipation of the voting session scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, the 28th, during the General Assembly of the International Exhibitions Bureau in Paris, where the host city for "Expo 2030" will be announced. Nassar had previously expressed Lebanon's support for Saudi Arabia's bid to host "Expo 2030" in the capital, Riyadh.
