Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov indicated on Tuesday that the "arming of Ukraine by the United States with long-range 'Atacms' missiles and 'Abrams' tanks will not change the situation on the battlefield." Peskov stated, "The Russian army is constantly learning how to adapt to new types of weapons." He added, "All of this cannot affect, in any way, the core of the special military operation and its outcomes. There is no magic wand, and no type of weapon can alter the balance of power on the battlefield." Peskov noted that "Abrams tanks are dangerous weapons, but remember what the president said about other tanks made in different countries" (referring to other Western tanks that Kyiv received, including German Leopard tanks and British Challenger tanks). He continued, "Those Abrams tanks will also burn." Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had announced on Monday that "U.S.-made Abrams tanks have arrived in the country."
