The Iraqi government's Security Media Cell announced today, Monday, the capture of the foreign battalion commander of the "ISIS" organization during an intelligence operation in the north of the country. The statement noted: "Through a precise intelligence operation and continuous monitoring, the heroic Counter-Terrorism Service, in coordination with the Asayish (Security) Directorate of the Kurdistan Region, carried out the operation that led to the arrest of the terrorist leader known as (Abu Bukhari) in Kirkuk province." It added that "this operation was based on the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia' Al-Sudani, and under the supervision of the head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Lt. Gen. Abdul Wahab Al-Saadi." It highlighted that this (terrorist) holds the position of what is called the commander of the foreign battalion in ISIS.
