Drone Attack on Ain al-Asad Base in Iraq

Armed factions in Iraq announced today, Thursday, that they attacked the Ain al-Asad base in western Anbar province with an explosive drone. A Pentagon official stated that "our forces in Erbil, Northern Iraq were subjected to a drone attack that resulted in no injuries or damages." Iraq and the United States are preparing to start talks to schedule the withdrawal of international coalition forces and define their future missions, following repeated American attacks on Popular Mobilization Forces sites.
