Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Hassan Sheikh, stated in a post on the social media platform X: "President Mahmoud Abbas and the leadership welcome the humanitarian ceasefire agreement, commend the efforts made by Qatar and Egypt, and reiterate the call for a comprehensive halt to the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, the entry of humanitarian aid, and the implementation of a political solution based on international legitimacy that leads to the end of occupation and the attainment of freedom, independence, and sovereignty for the Palestinian people."
