Lebanon enters the peak of the storm today with very heavy rain, a drop in temperatures, and intensified winds, especially in the northern regions, as confirmed by weather specialist Father Eli Khenisser. In a statement to "Voice of Lebanon" radio, Khenisser noted that "snow will begin falling in the early afternoon at an altitude of 1100 meters, with a polar wave entering in the evening, continuing until Thursday afternoon, with snow levels dropping to 800 meters in some areas. Tonight, temperatures will reach 6 degrees along the coast. The storm is expected to start diminishing from Thursday afternoon, but Lebanon will experience another snowstorm starting next Saturday, accompanied by a significant drop in temperatures and snow at 700 meters." Father Khenisser explained that the heavy rainfall Lebanon is experiencing these days will help alleviate the water crisis, as the rain amounts from the current storm are expected to reach approximately 100 to 180 mm.
