The Mediterranean Championship (Under 12) in table tennis, held in San Marino (Italy), concluded with Lebanon securing first place in the "C" category for teams, having won four consecutive matches including the final match against the team from Veneto-Trentino-Alto Adige with a score of (2-0), and in the final against the Piedmont team (2-0). With this victory, Lebanon has advanced in the overall ranking and secured participation in the upcoming year in the "B" category. Lebanon was represented in this tournament by player Ahmad Al-Hajawi and player Bisan Shiri.
In the girls' singles competition (under 12), Bisan Shiri won against Elena Gabriela (3-0), but lost in the quarter-finals (2-3) to the top seed Caroline Luini. In the boys' category, Ahmad Al-Hajawi won against the Italian Luka Franzoni (3-1), against Pietro Bologna (3-0), and against Alessandro Osili (3-1), but lost in the quarter-finals (1-3) to the top seed Daniel Delorico.
